Instructions for Bath & Body Mist |
INDIVIDUAL BOTTLE METHOD: To make body mist in individual bottles, pour mist directly into
bottle using funnel. Add a small amount of fragrance and dye (start with a drop of each). Top bottle with sprayer
and shake. Test by spraying onto your skin to make sure it does
not discolor your skin and to see if you need to add more fragrance. |
GALLON JUG METHOD: |
Step 1
Clean and sanitize work
area and equipment with a bleach solution (e.g. 1 tsp bleach to a 1
gallon of water) or with rubbing alcohol. |
Step 2
Get all ingredients
together so you do not have to leave in the middle of making your Body Mist. |
Items Needed:
Note: This method avoids human contact with the mist and keeps it covered most of the time thus avoiding any airborne particles (dust) getting into the body mist.
Step 3
Add a
Skin Safe Fragrance to Body Mist Base not to exceed 1 ounce
of scent to 1 gallon of Mist Base. It's best to take mixture outside to smell to make
sure the desired fragrance is achieved. Test, by spraying onto your
skin to see if you need to add more fragrance.

Step 4
Add
Dye for Bath & Body Products a drop at a time. Seal jug and
mix ingredients together.
Add more dye (if needed) to reach the desired color.
Note: When dye is added, test to make
sure it does not discolor skin. If it does, too much dye has been
added.
Step 5
When ingredients are mixed, either use a funnel to pour into bottles or pour directly
from jug. Top bottles with sprayer.
Note: If you see the oil separate from the mist, you are using too much fragrance and need to reduce the amount you use.
